 I used the puffy heart and painted it with 
gold metallic acrylic paint. 
Then I took some stickles in red, sparkly white and navy blue
 to make a firework type look and thought the lovely new layered garden beauty flower would look lovely on top of it. 
Then I took a bandana that was patriotic and cut it in strips. 
I tied it on both sides of handle and used a piece of 3 girls jam ribbon for the middle.
Voila I had my fire breaking heart :)

Altered Tag

 Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a fun and safe holiday weekend, and hopefully got to spend time with family and friends. I first want to take a moment and honor all the people who have fought or are currently fighting for our country, because that is what Memorial day is truly about. I pray that all the soldiers over there return home safely to their families!

Now to my post today…I made my tag for the Pinque Peacock Challenge Blog which you should all check out HERE and you can enter as well to win some very nice goodies :). Well the challenge this month has been altered tags and I decided to play around a lot with mine.

I had this amazingly awesome Peacock Fabric Splendid Swirl that is from the Pinque Peacock Shop.

Finally!

Hi my fellow creative friends and family! I know man of you know that I am on the Design Team for Pinque Peacock which you can find the wepbage here on www.facebook.com/pinquepeacock. I hadn't been able to fulfill all my duties that we have to do as a designer, due to the lack of a laptop. I just had my iPhone and could not do all the editing and submitting of materials on it. But today that has all changed! I received my new Apple Laptop in the mail and now can blog and do all the editing and tutorials i need to, and you will be seeing a lot of my creations and creative going ons of the different crafting groups I'm involved in and all the Pinque Peacock blogs most especially! So READY…SET…BLOG!

Hello World!

Hi my name is Hillary! I am a young girl who, due to several health problems, is bed bound at a nursing care center. It can be very rough at times but I hold on to hope and my faith. 

My goal is to inspire others and if I inspire at least one person...my suffering is all worthwhile. I have many passions in life and one of them is crafting...I love all sorts of crafts, but mostly multi-media and paper crafting. I love making cards for others and making inspirational collages...I have a sort of "shabby chic" style. 

Another passion of mine is fashion and designing. I decided to bring together both of my loves and do mostly fashion multimedia art work.  I truly love it and I hope to inspire others through my positive attitude and "never give up" attitude that no matter what is going on in your life, you can still follow your dreams...even if you have to be a little creative to make it work! 

I also want to show how beneficial art and craft work can be in helping you release negative feelings and express things that you otherwise couldn't openly talk about. It also is very therapeutic in it helps distract you from things that are rough on your life or pain you are going through.  

I am happy to have you joining me in this new journey and look forward to connecting and making new friendships along the way, and if I inspire one or two of you along the way...that's a bonus!
